My family has been in trucking for over 60 yrs. My dad is a retired truck driver (42 yrs.). He retired from Carolina freight in 1994 with 30 yrs of service. Prior to Carolina, he drove for Dixie Grocery Co. for 12 years.

Craig Mosteller, Tony's Dad, in his Carolina driver's uniform, which was required back in the early days. He wore this unifrom, including the hat, until his reitriement in 1994. This picture was taken around 1966 when Craig started at Carolina. Craig Mosteller receiving the 1993 N.C. Govenors award for driver of the year for N.C. He had driven 4 million miles accident free in 42 yrs..of driving. Craig was the fourth driver in Carolina's history to receive this honor. There was only five drivers in Carolina's history to receive this award. A rare American Freightways promotional picture that is part of Tony's collection.

I have been a mechanic for 17 years. I started my career at Carolina Freight in the 80's but, now I'm working for American Freightways.
