Thomson Motor Lines
This is Warren Thomson's Chevy Titan. (an Astro in disguise), with a load of silica sand out of Hamilton,WA. Iko in Calgary, with a load of roofing materials. I got stuck less than a mile below the summit on the Salmo-Creston on this trip. I was chained up and it was snowing like it was going out of style. I got around a small slide, but there was another one just above it that had reached the far side of the road, so I tucked in against the bank, idled her up, and waited.

The guys from the road maintenance camp at the summit finally came and got me---man, did they ever have good chow at that camp! I hated to leave

A '54(?) KW at Mt. Vernon,WA This is southbound on BC #93 somewhere around Invermere, I think.
Backed in at Tree Island Steel in New Westminster, BC. Another load of sand at Valley, WA.
We also hauled coil off of Frazer-Surrey docks. This is Warren's 'binder
Here is Doug Thomson's '68 KW. Doug hauls steel with this truck, just as his father, Warren, did with the same truck at Lambton Steel, many years ago. Courtesy of Doug Thomson. Two shots of the same truck eastbound on the Trans Canada Highway on September 7, 2004 taken from the Glover Road Overpass by Hank Suderman.
