 I am looking for pictures and any information on Mack B model trucks of the company called "Bulk Carriers Ltd" of Cooksville (Toronto) Ontario Canada.
          
  • I own a B613T Mack that used to be one of their trucks. In the '50's and '60's they had a fleet of about a 100 trucks. I live in the Netherlands so I hope someone can help me find pics and information.

Zavitz Bros. was based out of Wainfleet, Ontario. They ran mostly the Eastern Seaboard with Mack B,F,H,and R models hauling refrigerated freight. They had 60 trucks at one time so you would think someone would have something.

This company was started by a distant relative of Dennis Loiselle whom he never met. Loiselle's logo featured a 'prancing horse'.
To the best of his knowledge, this company started after WW2 hauling from Alberta to Alaska. At some point in the '70's the company was sold but retained the name into the early '80's.

    They used to haul for Weyerhaeuser Timber out of their Portsmouth, R.I. terminal, and had the prettiest (and cleanest) Macks I ever saw, (LJ's & B-73's)
    The trucks were two-toned green and yellow, colors that I think were used by Weyerhaeuser back in the fifties for their company trucks.

They had a plant in North Kansas City, MO. My Dad drove for them. He ran to Springfield, MO, St Louis, MO, and into Southeast Kansas. He drove a Diamond Reo C-114. I have recently purchased one. Any pictures would be great. It was in the early seventies. I know in the 1980's they used gray GMC Generals with red and blue stripes. Now they use a company to transport their goods.

Someone is wanting some picture(s) of the White Freightliners that pulled reefer units for the Foremost Dairy Company out of San Francisco or Sacramento, CA. He would like to reproduce this truck, because they had a unique paint schema. The truck was painted white on top and it had orange dots on the lower 1/3 of the truck. The trailer was painted to match. These trucks used to have a terminal in Dallas, TX and run up to St. Louis area also.
