Note : Overland traded as Overland Western until the early 80’s when the name was changed for Overland Express and soon after the division added the TNT logo on its equipment showing its parentage with the Australian Group. However the small Overland US operation, specialized in trans-border freight between Michigan and Ontario continued to trade as Overland Western (Ref : page 9, photo 27)

Note : Following a Teamster strike TNT Canada closed down the Alltrans/Kwikasair/Comet Group on December,13,1989 meaning a shrinkage of 20% in terms of employees and equipment, almost 25% in terms of revenue and up to 30% in terms of terminals
