Here are some Mill Creek units taken just before they were bought out by Mullen Transport
A pair of brand new big hoods on the Cambridge yard. The 379’s rode smooth enough, I can only imagine how these floated on the highway. Here is another shot of the two newest units. Notice the one on the left doesn’t even have license plates on her yet. Lineup of "prime rides" at Mill Creeks yard at Cambridge, Ontario. With equipment like this, the company could be choosey. They wouldn’t even talk to you unless you could prove at least five years experience.
This was the only (at that time) Freightliner on the yard. With that short wheel base, they don’t call them "freightshakers" for nothing. Rear view of the new Freightliner. (Good detail shot for modelers) A good shot of a Mill Creek 377 million miler at a locl Husky.
Mill Creek unit 1436 taken at a local Husky. This million miler is no longer in service. Many drivers would sooner have these "old" Pete’s rather than have one of the new short wheel base Freightliners.
