Every once in a great while I still see one of these old girls running. I shot this at he former Days Inn on U.S. 192 by I-95 in the early 90's. Sierra Lines GMC Silver Sides and a GMC Scenicruser taken at Martinez, CA in April 1976. Continental Trailways Silver Eagle taken along I-91 near Holyoke, MA in 1974.

I drove this 2008 Thomas Built bus for for 5 weeks until they found a full time driver. I bounce around from bus to bus, route to route as a sub school bus driver here in Houston County, Georgia. Sept. 2008. Peter Pan Bus Lines from Springfield, MA ready to pull out with a load of passenger's in Chicopee, MA by the Exit 5 Ramp of the Mass Pike on Nov. 1, 2008. This was my home bus line, they have always had a colorful paint scheme and logo. I've traveled on them to Fenway Park in Boston and up to Burlington, VT. Stagecoach from Saskatchewan somewhere at the Best Western Toni Inn on "The Parkway" in Pigeon Forge, TN Oct. 27, 2008.
Newell Coach Miami, OKlahoma taken at the Perry Wal-Mart TraveLynx from Titusville, FL was at the Cookeville, TN Super 8 motel at X-287 along I-40 on July 24, 2009. Thought it looked pretty sharp sitting all by itself in the early morning sunshine. Charlie Brown and friends Opryland Hotel bus from Nashville, TN was at Hamilton Place Mall along I-75 in Chattanooga, TN on Sept 14, 2009. Kind of neat, huh!
Here's an interesting motor coach. Burke Christian Tours from Newton, NC had stopped briefly to discharge passengers in the historic Mayberry/Andy Griffith section downtown section of Mt Airy, NC on Oct. 23, 2009. I just happened to be walking on the sidewalk and quickly snapped this shot from the only angle I had. I snapped these 3 Cleveland, Ohio area based Lakefront Lines motor coaches at the W.B. Elkhart service plaza on the Indiana Tollroad in early May 2009. They were transporting these Toledo, Ohio school kids somewhere West of Elkhart. One of 3 Buckeye Charter buses that stopped at the Perry Chick-Fil-A on their way from Ohio down to Tampa, FL with members of a high school marching band that were headed there for a New Year's parade they were to march in.
I found this oldie but goodie at the Northbound West Virginia Turnpike service Plaza about the 20-21 mm on Jan. 31, 2010. I like the name on the marquee sign above the windshield "Short Bus".
A set of Abbott Trailways/Abbott Bus Lines, Inc. motorcoaches at the Sheetz Travel Plaza at the Mt Jackson, VA exit on I-81. A pair of Preston USA, Inc. Van Hool motor coaches from Lakeland, FL that were hauling Tampa area middle school students up to nashville, TN pulled into the Perry Chick-Fil-A in late April, 2010.
These two Crown Bus Lines motorcoaches were hauling a group of folks from Memphis, TN down to Cocoa Beach, FL when they stopped at the Perry McDonald's right off of I-75 on the morning of June 7, 2010. Interesting looking Prevost at the Perry, GA Walmart lot on JUne 5, 2010.
I love coming across classic old buses in my travels! Here's a 1965 Challenger from Vermont that was having some rear end issues so they pulled into the Wytheville, VA Flying J to work them out. As you can see the owner had the rear wheels up on wood and was working on it when I came along on the evening of June 12, 2010. They got it fixed and off they went while I was still there. This classic "Silver Eagle" with Virginia plates was at the Lee-Hi Travel Plaza I-81 X-195 near Lexington,VA
for the 2010 Shell Super Rigs show.
I had just pulled out of the Glade Spring, VA Petro at Exit 29 and was about to get back on Northbound I-81 when these two Northbound Anchor Trailways buses got off to pull into the Petro. I grabbed my digital and as quickly as I could get it turned on I snapped this shot, didn't even get to aim, just pointed and shot. Somewhat off, but not bad considering the factors.
A real colorful Prevost for Annett Florida Trails, Inc. from Sebring, FL at the Perry, GA McDonald's I-75 X-136 in late July 2010. Here's kind of a neat bus, Tornado from somewhere in the midwest I assume. He had just pulled out from under the fuel islands at the Commerce, GA Travel Centers of America along I-85 at the U.S. 441 exit N.E. of Atlanta on Aug. 24, 2010. Caught this Georgia Coach Lines, Inc. Prevost on the S.B. I-75 X-135 ramp in Perry, GA the morning of Oct. 9, 2010.
Here's the ultimate in travel comfort. The motorcoach is a 2005 and Pennsylvania is their 10-20. An early Oct. 24, 2010 morning shot of this Coach America motorcoach from North Carolina at the Wytheville, VA motel we stayed at on our way to Ohio. Springfield, MA based Peter Pan Bus Lines, Inc. at the S.B. I-95 service plaza near Stamford, CT on Oct. 30, 2010.
I believe Boston area based Yankee Lines with a Setra at the Milford, CT service plaza on S.B. I-95 also on Oct. 30, 2010. Buco Trans. Inc. D/B/A Campbell Bus Lines from Slippery Rock (love that name), PA at the N.B. service plaza of the West Virginia Turnpike down near the Southern end @ MM 17. Here was kind of an unusual find. A Turimex Irizar bus from Monterrey something Mexico that was at the Travel Centers of America X-63 of I-85 in Duncan, SC.

Ran into the Harlem Globetrotters basketball team bus operated by Greyhound at the Duncan, SC T/A at X-63 on I-85 in late March 2011. Came across this private coach at the Duncan, SC Travel Centers of America on I-85 X-63 in late March 2011.

A pretty sharp privately owned Prevost that had pulled into the Perry Walmart in May 2011. Academy Express, Inc. with New Jersey is operating this Campus Coach tour bus on Pennsylvania Route 340 in downtown Intercourse in mid-Aug. 2011. A very colorful Peter Pan motorcoach from Springfield, MA operated by Arrow Acquisition Line LLC from Rocky Hill, Connecticut at the Dutch Kettle Village tourist attraction in Intercourse, PA in mid August, 2011.
Great looking Prevost private motorcoach with it's popout side extended @ the Rock Hill, SC Flying J along I-77. Husky Trailways from Festus, Missouri @ a Eureka Springs, AR Best Western on U.S. 62 in late Oct. 2011. Kingsmen, Inc. from Conley, GA was the operator of this motorcoach that was @ the All State Citgo in early Dec. 2011.
Caught these 4 Champion Coach motorcoaches from Greenville, SC just before sunrise while the drivers were having breakfast @ the Perry, GA McDonald's in mid Dec. 2011. Champion is one of the premier transporters of sports teams in the Southeastern U.S. They were on their way to Tampa, FL to transport the Dallas Cowboys football team after they played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.   These two Young Transportation motorcoaches were hauling Ohio State Football fans from up North down to the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, FL when they stopped @ Perry for a fast food break the last Friday in 2011.
A Crisp Academy MCI from Cordele, Georgia stopped @ the Perry, GA Chick-Fil-A in Feb. 2012. Southern Coaches, Inc. based in Dothan, AL runs a nice fleet of these brightly painted red, white & blue motor coaches. This charter had pulled into the Perry McDonalds @ X-136 on I-75 in May 2012. A nice looking MCI for Daniel's Charters from Gainesville, Georgia.
Atchison Charter Service from Spartanburg, SC with a Van Hool @ the W. Melbourne, FL Holiday Inn Express on July 6, 2013. I found this nicely appointed MCI private motorcoach with Pennsylvania plates done up by Land Cruiser Custom Coach Corporation from Columbus, Ohio at the Perry Walmart. Only wish the privacy shade wasn't up in the front windshield.
Found this bus from Albany, GA parked at the Perry McDonald's however most of the passenger's walked across the Kroger parking lot over to Chick-fil-A. I guess the driver preferred "Mickey D's" so he parked there and let the passengers eat where they wanted. Peter Pan Bus Lines from Springfield, MA pulling into the Kettle Kitchen Village (tourist trap) on PA route 340 in downtown Intercourse, PA. A very sharp Prevost private coach just after daybreak with it's passengers all resting inside of it at the Perry Walmart.
Harmon Brothers Charter Services, Inc. from Union City, Georgia with a Van Hool motor coach stopped at the Perry, GA McDonald's along I-75 @ X-136. Southeastern Stages from Atlanta, Georgia at a hotel on U.S. 1 on the S. side of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Red Coach, Inc. from Orlando, Florida pulling into the Belleview, Florida Pilot along I-75 where they have a small bus station on their regularly scheduled bus service route.
A trio of MCA Transportation, Inc. motorcoaches from Orlando, Florida that stopped by the Perry, GA Burger King on their way North on I-75. Royal Charter & Tours out of Cleveland, Tennessee stopped at the Perry, Georgia Walmart. Prevost Marathon Coach motorcoach at the S.B. I-81 West Virginia Welcome Center.
A bright orange bus operated by Senators from Florence, Alabama "wrapped" in bright orange for Home Depot stores to use as a football college game day promotion that travels to various college football games. Found it resting at the Duncan, South Carolina T/A on I-85, X-63 before dawn.
A very nice looking Prevost private motorcoach from Henderson, Tennessee. At a midtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma hotel for some sort of function that was going on during early March 2017. Country music band Montgomery Gentry's top of the line Prevost le Mirage XL parked at the same hotel we stayed at in Franklin, Tennessee. The name on the panel over the windshield is Lucky Man and band member Eddie Montgomery name is on the entry door.
Looks like a very high end Prevost model motor coach that had pulled into the Byron, Georgia Pilot before sunrise in late July 2017. Newton Bus Service, Inc. from Gloucester, Virginia with an MCI @ the Perry, Georgia Motel 6. "The Eleventh Rose", an old GM motorcoach with a 6V-92 diesel engine from Michigan whose owner was catching some shut eye at the Perry Walmart on their way to Florida shortly before Christmas 2017.

Prevost entertainer's tour bus motor coach from Nashville, Tennessee.@ the Perry Walmart. Caught these two Fullington Trailways LLC buses @ a hotel I was staying at in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania in May 2016.
Prevost private motor coach that was parked at the Perry Walmart the last weekend of 2018. I see Burke International Tours from Newton, North Carolina fairly often in my travels around the Southeast. I caught Prevost #161 at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant near Commerce, Georgia I-85, Exit 149, (U.S. 441).
