The IH Fleetstar with the "covered wagon" belonged to Eastern Freightways from Carlstadt, NJ and the black R Mack was owned by dairy products hauler Carlton G. Whitaker from Deposit, NY. This was shot at a truckstop along I-90 right on the NY/MA line during the summer of 1974. I can't remember which state it was actually in though. Here is a "snazzy" Brockway leased on with Krajack Tank Lines from Roselle Park, NJ who had stopped on MA Route 147 in W. Springfield in 1974. It was rather rare to see a day cab Pete's hauling produce at the Springfield farmers market back in 1974. I can't read the lettering on the door so no information is available to share. Here is another Best Refrigerated Express from Omaha, NE unloading at Hampden Beef Co. in downtown Springfield, MA during summer 1974.
Weaver Country Style Chicken from New Holland, PA was waiting his turn to unload at the former and now torn down A & P refrigerated & frozen warehouse located along I-91 on the North end of Springfield, MA during the summer months of 1974. Spector Freight System from Chicago use to pull these turnpike double units from Exit 6 (Chicopee, MA) of the Mass Pike out to the NY/PA state line at Ripley, NY. I came across this one in early 1974 at their Chicopee terminal which was only a 1/2 mile or so from the Mass Turnpike.

Rose Truck Line from Houston, TX and the good looking Pete COE in the next spot I can't quite make out the lettering on the cab door. It looks like it might say Thoroughbread Trucking. But, this scene was sometime in 1978 at Terminal Stations.
Another ag hauler with the initials SRS on the cab stopped at the Muffin Treat along I-80 near Fairfield, CA during the fall harvest of 1977. Baldwin was primarily a container hauler out of one of the East Bay cities S. of Oakland, CA. This White Freightliner was parked at the Muffin Treat in fall of 1977.
