| Livestock haulers always facinated me, especially West Coast type set ups like this unidentified Pete COE that was parked at Terminal Stations in late 1975. | This was a common practice of having a forklift place the pull trailer on top of the bed of the truck after a rig unloaded at a CA lumberyard before the driver headed back to Oregon or Northern California to pick up another load of milled lumber to bring South again. This sharp purple KW was patiently waiting for it's driver to come back out of the Muffin Treat Restaurant near Fairfield,CA during the summer of 1976. | |

| This group was stopped at Terminal Stations in 1977. The KW COE on the far left belonged to Wells Cargo oout of Reno, NV and the green GMC COE was owned by food distributor S.E. Rycoff. | This IH-4200 was picking up a load of reclaimed fuel from one of the fuels bulk storage area's at Travis AFB, CA sometime during 1977. That building in the background is the former David Grant Medical Facility. | This KW for Texaco was delivering a load of gasoline to the Travis AFB base gas station in early 1976 with a brand new trailer |

| Two flatbeds stopped at Terminal Stations in 1976. This was the last/first truck stop with any amount of parking area for rigs headed into or out of the Bay Area on I-80 & I-680 back in the mid-late 70's. So there was a constant flow of rigs coming and going from it when I was stationed at Travis AFB. | The unidentified Pete COE auto hauler was taken in 1976 at Terminal Stations. Notice the single tires on the trailer and the Willy's Jeep at the aft end of the load. | Ag hauler Adams Trucking out of Woodland, CA was also headed into Panty hose Junction in April 1976. |

| This sharp KW was leased onto Curtis, Inc. from Denver, CO and was posing nicely while stopped at Terminal Stations. | I-505 served as the short cut from I-5 into the Bay Area and was being 4 laned in the mid 70's when I snapped these clamshell aggregate haulers pulling doubles in the constuction zone through the windshield of my 72 Chevy pickup. | The Pete COE livestock hauler belonged to Sanzberro Livestock Transportation from some town in California's Central Valley. He had just exited off of S.B. I-5 at Dunnigan and crossed over the top of I-5 headed for the "Panty hose Junction" truck stop as it was known because of the short skirts and panty hose all the waitresses wore. |

I came across it while on my 10 speed bike at Old Colony Envelope in downtown Westfield, MA during summer 1973 when it was almost brand new. | Ryder Truck Lines Road Boss at the W. Springfield motel in early 1974 that alot of L.T.L.'s would park at while on their rest time that was located where U.S. 20 & U.S. 5 intersected. | |

| This C & L Truck Leasing Ford was waiting to unload at Sterling Radiator the same afternoon as the Crane D/R COE. | Crane was some sort of an industrial parts supplier as I found this Diamond Reo offloading at Sterling Radiator Co. in downtown Westfield, MA sometime during the winter of 1973-74. | Dealers Transit out of Chicago operated this IH Transtar that was layed over at the Westfield, MA Hoho's in late 1973. In the background you can see the Exit 3 tollbooth for the Mass Turnpike painted it's traditional Irish green. |
