This shot of the NAVL IH Transtar was shot through the back window of my brothers VW Bug in 1972 going downhill on W. Bound I-90 (Mass Pike) a few miles East of the Palmer exit. Anchor Motor Freight Chevy was taken in early 1973 while the driver was checking into the Hojo's motel by the Mass Pike Westfield exit #3. R model Roadway Mack was shot in 1972 at Micro Abrasives plant N. of Westfield, MA along U.S. 202

Unidentified California-based ag hauler was taken in late 1975 in Vacaville, CA. White Freightliner auto hauler says Bi-Rite on the cab door and the blue and white White Freightliner parked next to him is for H & H Trucking. I can't make out where either is based out of. Notice the auto hauler has a load of ex: CHP patrol cars just like the kind used by Jake and Elroy in the Blues Brothers Movie!! White Freightliner COE's were taken at Terminal Stations in Cordelia, CA. Yes that is an ex: IML Freight traile the tractor on the left is hooked to.

Pete COE was for J.T. Neighbors Trucking Co. Inc. from Dunn, NC and I shot it in 1976 at the Springfield, MA farmers market complex while home on leave from the USAF. KW conventional day cab was taken in 1977 on Travis AFB, CA and belonged to Service Trucking, Inc. from Sacratomato, CA (really Sacramento). Two U.S. Mail contractor rigs backed up to the docks at the main Springfield, MA post office behind the Peter Pan Bus Lines terminal in downtown Springfield, MA in 1974. McCasland was from the Albany, NY area and the red Mack R said BTL on the cab door that's all I know about that company.

Shot this early Monfort of Colorado KW in 1972 before I had my drivers license from my bicycle hideout spot along W. bound Mass Turnpike just east of Exit 3. That's the old Savage Arms gun plant in the left background. Here is a then brand new White Freightliner conv. leased to Navajo Freight Lines delivering a load of beef to a Springfield, MA distributor at the farmers market complex in May of 1975. A Pete COE leased on with Schanno Transportation from W. St Paul, MN at Hampden Beef in downtown Springfield, MA during the summer of 1974.

NRM Trucking (National Rolling Mills) from Malvern, PA was a common sight for private fleets during the 70's and 80's. Shot him in 1974 in W. Springfield, MA along U.S. Route 5. Pete COE was leased to Rowley Interstate based out of Waterloo, Iowa taken by the Springfield Newpapers plant in downtown Springfield, MA in 1974 Pete COE is pretty blurry and is unidentified. So if it looks as crummy as it does to me to you, just delete it. Shot it in 1974 at the Springield, MA farmers market complex.

This KW conventional was for Western Iowa Pork and was taken at the Valley View Diner in W. Springfield, MA where U.S. 5 & I-91 intersec KW conv. belonged to a California based fleet possibly Frontier Marketing out of Artesia? Found him stopped right off of U.S. 20 in W. Springfield, MA in 1974. Unidentified Freightliner taken at Terminal Stations at Cordelia, CA taken in April 1976

IH Transtar appears to be from Quebec. Shot that at the Miracle Mile Shopping Plaza in downtown Vero Beach, FL while my future wife was picking out her wedding dress. When opportunity knocks, ya gotta answer it!! I shot the NAVL Astro along U.S. 1 in Ft Pierce, FL in 1981. O/O leased to Redwing Carriers from Tampa, FL at the St Lucie County Int'l Airport near Ft Pierce, FL in 1981.

Pete leased to Curtis, Inc. of Denver was taken in the maintenance bay at Terminal Stations. J.H. Rose GMC Astro from Houston, TX was taken at Terminal Stations in June 1976. KW COE was taken near Lodi, CA right off CA 99 in June 1976

Both the White 9000 and Brockway conv. were leased on with Food Haulers, Inc. a contract hauler for Shop-Rite Supermarkets out of Elizabeth, NJ. Both were taken in 1974 at the Chicopee Falls, MA Shop-Rite store near the former Westover AFB location. White 7400 belonged to a small reefer fleet called Bright Belt Motor Lines Inc. out of Grifton, NC. Shot him during the summer of 1974 at the Springfield, MA farmers market complex.

Hallamore Motor Trans. Mack that was based out of Holbrook, MA back in the 70's. Thise big heavy hauler was shot by the Mass.Turnpike exit 3 area in 1974 Hallamore Motor Trans. Mack U Model was taken while stopped for lunch at the old A & W Root Beer diner along U.S. 202 and MA Route 10 in downtown Westfield, MA in 1973. KW COE and IH Transtar both leased to Eagle Motor Lines from Birmingham, AL taken across the street from the Hojo's I cooked at by Exit 3 of the Mass. Pike in 1974.
