Christmas Day early morning at the Byron Pilot before everyone at home woke up I wanted to see what was parked there and found this beauty of a Pete 389.
LNG powered Cascadia for UPS Freight that had made a quick stop at the Toms Brook, Virginia Love's Travel Stop on I-81.
Isle Edge Trucking from Watertown, Wisconsin seems to be an up & coming small reefer carrier as I've slowly been seeing more & more of their Freightliner Cascadia Evolution fleet. I caught #184 @ the Perry Walmart in Dec. 2016. O/O running under the name of Never Seen Express, LLC from Auburndale, Florida with his Freightliner Classic XL at the Perry Walmart in Dec. 2016.
Mack Pinnacle for the Savannah, Georgia based CT Transportation LLC div. of Comcar Industries parked for the Christmas 2016 weekend at a shopping center in Warner Robins, Georgia. D.M. Bowman, Inc. based in Williamsport, Maryland with one of their Volvo VN's @ the Madison, Georgia T/A on I-20, X-114. One of the many nice looking "hoods" that Apex, North Carolina based Puryear Trucking Co. operates waits at a light for his turn to get onto Route 55 within 2 blocks of their HQ's & yard.
A West Virginia based farm Pete 379 resting at the Greencastle, Pennsylvania T/A at dawn. A Freightliner M-2 for PMI Lubricants a div. of The PMI Company headquartered in Roanoke, Virginia takes a break at the S.B. I-81 rest area @ the 199 m.m. An O/O from New Albany, Mississippi leased on with Landstar Ranger that either has a load of marble or granite countertops on the flatbed trailer. This O/O puts cones out around his truck anytime he stops which might be a good idea especially in a Walmart parking lot!
New Mack Pinnacle for Knoxville, Tennessee based Pemberton Truck Lines, Inc. whose driver was resting inside the tractor @ dawn at the Perry Walmart. Schuster of Le Mars, Iowa & Pemberton Truck Lines, Inc. together at the Perry Walmart in late Dec. 2016.
An ex: Zenith Freight Lines (Conover, North Carolina) T-600-B & a T-660 for Beecher Associates LLC from Rochelle, Georgia that were resting near I-75 in Perry early morning in late Dec. 2016. Both tank trailers were lettered Harold Martin, Rochelle, GA. Not sure what type of product they pulled in the tanks though. The driver of this KW T-660 for Beecher Associates LLC from Rochelle, Georgia was resting in his cab @ daybreak in the truck parking area of the Perry Burger King beside I-75.
O/O operating as Feather Lite Transport from Palatka, Florida with this Pete 379 @ the N.B. I-475 rest area W. of Macon, Georgia. A KW T-660 next to an old T-600-A @ the Perry Flash Foods fuel stop & C-store.
Looks like Knight Transportation might be renaming their reefer div. as KoldTrans to make it stand out from their general freight div. This IH ProStar is out of their Atlanta regional terminal. O/O Pete 387 leased on with Landstar Inway, Inc.resting in his sleeper out in front of the Perry Walmart in mid-Nov. 2016. Kind of different to have your wheels painted gunmetal gray versus polished aluminum or chrome.
KLLM's Frozen Food Express div. Cascadia Evolution @ the Perry Walmart. I had not seen this W-9-L for Dawes Contract Carriage from Waterford, Wisconsin in over a year at the Perry Walmart until just after Christmas 2016. I see that he added back lighting to the KW emblem on top of the grill. That's one super nice looking machine. Mack Pinnacle with the lettering Gro-Wor from what looks like Lititz, Pennsylvania passing thru Goodville, Pennsylvania on Route 23.
GTF Transport, Inc. with a Tennessee base plate early morning @ the Perry Walmart. Phrase under the GTF name is "We Run Under God's Authority".
Freightliner for Diversified Automotive, Inc. based in Orangeburg, New York parked over the weekend along U.S. 202 in Southwick, Massachusetts in May 2016. NAVL agent Saunier Moving & Storage from Lexington & Louisville, Kentucky at the Perry Walmart in fall 2016.

A really sharp looking Pete 579 for M.C. Van Kampen Trucking, Inc. from Wyoming, Michigan at the Byron, Georgia Pilot. Van Kampen runs some of the nicest looking company owned tractors across America's highways in my opinion.
Mack Pinnacle for BH Transfer, Inc. from Sandersville, Georgia. BH is a major carrier of kaolin clay throughout the Southeastern U.S. plus has a sizeable container hauling division within the fleet operations. Another Sandersville, Georgia based carrier of kaolin clay products is Howard Sheppard, Inc. with a tanker load of kaolin in slurry form. I took this image in a vacant lot across the street from the Byron, Georgia Pilot which is now closed and a chicken fast food joint is being built on it. Truckers getting squeezed some more for local available parking space. At least a new Love's is under construction 10 or so miles N. on I-75 from the Byron Pilot. A Cairo, Georgia O/O's W-9-L after fueling up his colorful tractor at the Byron, Georgia Pilot.
Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation from Perrysville, Missouri wit this Pete 386 @ the Perry Walmart in late Nov. 2016. Their newest Pete 579's are solid white so I guess their long time color scheme will be a thing of the past in a few years if that long. I've always liked the classic look to Gilster-Mary Lee Corporation's private fleet headquartered out of Perryville, Missouri. Unfortunately, their newest road tractors are all white as are the trailers also. So most likely in the not too distant future these colors will be a part of trucking history.
TMC, Con-way Truckload & Trans Carriers parked on the back row of the Byron, Georgia Pilot. Bolus Freight Systems, Inc. from Scranton, Pennsylvania and an O/O Coronado with the lettering DTM on the cab door at the Lamar, Pennsylvania TA early a.m. in late Oct. 2016.

Valero Travel Plaza at X-138 of I-75 near Perry. Whole lot of green going on here with this T-680 & green tarp for Champion Truck Lines LLC from Tulsa, Oklahoma that was at the Byron Pilot early a.m.
A solid black Pete 389 with the lettering KKS Transportation LLC St Louis, Missouri on the sleeper. I took this at dawn also at the Byron Pilot in early Nov. 2016. Sharp IH Eagle for a small Louisiana based fleet that I could not make out the name on the cab door. The all black makes it take on a "Darth Vader" appearance I thought when I saw it at the Byron Pilot. In keeping with the green theme...CNG powered Freightliner M-2 for Forest Park, Georgia retail hauler Premier Transportation, Inc. The driver of this unit lives not too far from me and parks at a local shopping center on the weekends usually minus the freight box so I'm glad he left it attached the weekend that I took this image.
