Nellen and Quack. DAF 95 400. This DAF model shares the same cab as the Seddon Atkinson and the Pegaso. A distinctive livery. Seen on the London orbital motorway in 2000. Hobo. DAF 95 Super Space Cab. The truck has a step frame trailer and could belong to a furniture company. The truck was seen in the Eastend of London in 1999. Shell. ERF ECS. Shell is a national petroleum company with many distribution depots. The truck was seen at Dartford in 2001.
Fiat 684N. The truck belongs to a local builder in Bologna. Seen tucked away in a side street in 1998. London Brick Co. Foden 4250. This truck hauls bricks and blocks for the building industry. It has a rear lift axle. Seen outside a transport cafe in Dartford, Kent. Tilcon. Foden Alpha 3000. The company is a large group in the building industry. Seen in a Foden dealers forecourt in Crayford, Kent 2000.
Grosvenor. Foden Alpha 3000. Grosvenor are a waste disposal company in Kent. The truck was seen on the M25 in 2000. Liaz 19.33. A Czechoslovakian truck with a tilt trailer seen in Dover docks waiting for a ferry to the continent. Seen in 1997. Elmbeck. MAN 18-403. This company is a large storage and distribution company with daily deliveries to the Continent. The truck was seen on the M25. The London orbital motorway. 2000.
Danzas. MAN TGA with XXL cab. Danzas is a large German international haulier. The truck was seen leaving Dover on the A.2. trunk road in 2001. Cotra Velma. Pegaso 1236.38. This is a large Spanish refrigerated transport company. This model shares its cab with the Seddon Atkinson and the DAF. Seen on the London orbital motorway in 2000. Maison Lhorme. Renault Magnum 380. A French refrigerated food haulier. The truck was seen on the A2 trunk road heading towards London.
Trevor Cathers. Scania 143M 450. TC is an Irish refrigerated haulier to GB and the Continent. The truck was seen in a motorway service area on the M2 in 1996. Page Parry. Volvo FM 12 420. The truck has the high roof Globetrotter cab and a refrigerated Chereau trailer. The truck was seen in 2000 on the A2 trunk road at Gravesend. Colossus. Volvo FH 12. A German heavy haulage company with an up rated tractor unit. Probably a 60 ton load. Seen at Dartford docks in 2001.
Bedford TM. This truck had Lucas livery. They are a large car component company. The truck was seen at a truck festival in Kent in 1995. Mayer Parry. DAF 3300. The company is based in Erith, Kent and has a fleet of bulk trailers hauling scrap metal. The truck was seen parked up at Northfleet, Kent in 1996. Easy Load. Foden 4500. Unusual high horse power for a bulk waste disposal haulier. A local company. The truck was seen in Dartford, Kent, in 2000.
Russell Davies. Iveco220-32 Turbotech. This was a large company hauling containers which was sold in the mid 90ís. The company has recently started trading again under the name of Hanbury Davies. The truck was seen parked up outside a transport cafe in Dartford, Kent in 1994. Good Year. MAN 22-331. The truck has a day cab with sleeper pod, maximising truck volume. The truck was seen driving through Kent to London in 1994. Bellmas. Renault R340. A French registered truck with sleeper pod. Seen driving through kent to London in 1999.
Rugby Cement. Renault Premium. A very big national company with a large fleet of powder tanker trailers. Most tractors are owned by owner drivers whose trucks are painted in the companies livery. The truck was seen in Dartford, Kent in 2000. Saurer 50. A builders truck seen in Martigny Switzerland in 1990. Saurer was a Swiss manufacturer who was taken over by Daimler Benz in 1982. Scania 144G 530. This truck is owned by the large haulage company of Canute. The truck was originally owned by NY Recovery of Maidstone Kent. The truck was seen at a truck festival in 2001.
Dunne. Scania 144L 460 Topline. Dunne is an Irish haulage company who regularly travel to Britain and Europe. The truck was seen on the London orbital motorway in 2001. Keedwell. Scania 142 E. This truck belongs to a heavy haulage company and regularly hauls loads up to 150 tons. The truck started life as a three axle tractor and was later converted to four axles. The final conversion to five axles took place in 1995 and was rebadged 146E. The truck was seen at a truck festival in 1999. Felbermayr. Steyr 50.604. Felbermayr is a large Austrian heavy haulage company with a large fleet of prime movers. This Steyr is one of the largest heavy haulage tractors in Europe. The truck was made by OAF. The Steyr and OAF companies are both owned by MAN. The truck was seen at Dartford docks in 2001.
Rudolph. Steyr 1491.310. An Austrian made and registered truck. The company was taken over by MAN in 1990. The truck was seen in a motorway service area on the M2 in Kent in 1994. Glovers. Volvo F16 Globetrotter. Glovers is a Scottish international haulier. The truck was seen in a motorway service area on the M2 in 1997. Hinchcliffe. Volvo FH 12 Globetrotter. This truck was bought to celebrate the companies Silver Jubilee. The truck is kept in immaculate condition and has won several trophies as best working model at truck festivals. It has a pearlescent paint job. The truck was seen in Kent, 2000 on its way back to Carlisle.
