| PACCAR do not sell Peterbilts in Australia. Most of the Pete’s in this country have been imported as used trucks.
Kent Collision and Kustom is a company in the State of New South Wales which Imports new Peterbilts, converts them to right-hand-drive and modifies them so that they conform to government regulations.
These two photos are of a new Peterbilt which Kent Collision and Kustom had imported and were offering for sale. Photos taken at the Castlemaine Truck and Ute Show, Victoria Australia in November 2007.

| This nice Peterbilt 379 was new when imported by Kent Collision and Kustom, who modified it extensively for its new owners, Napoli Transport of New South Wales.The engine is a Caterpillar 3406 ACERT, which develops 550 hp and 1850 ft lb of torque. The wheelbase of the prime mover (called a tractor in some countries) is 6.8 metres.In November 2007, this rig won Truckin’ Life Magazine’s “Rig Of The Year” award, at the Castlemaine Truck Show in Victoria, Australia, which is where these photographs were taken. |
