This photo was taken by my father Ken Sr. in 1938 or 39 when he was manager of the Ellensburg Lee & Eastes depot. Ken Jr. also held the same position in 1968. This was the start of a career in that lasted for many years with Lee & Eastes and ONC. I worked on dock at Yakima later as driver. Then to Seattle to work for LASME and Lee & Eastes/CLE. Later to Astoria Oregon to work as driver there and then to Yakima to work as driver there again and promoted to manager at Ellensburg in 1968 and then promoted to TM in Kennewick , Washington until 1975. Then to Walla Walla where operated my own business until 1997 and then retired to Oregon City. Well thats the motor freight part. Does not cover my airline and current dealings. |
