| The company is Scout Trucking, Inc. of Spring City, Pa. Scout was started in 1981 following the closing of Jones Motor Company. The company was owned by 3 men who at one time all worked for Jones. Harry Meitzler, my father and co-contributor of these pictures was vice-president. Scout operated as in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and New York. Scout closed it's doors in the mid 1990's due to increasing competition and insurance costs. | ||
