| Here are some pictures from Jones Motor Company of Spring City, PA. Jones Motor was started in 1894 under the name of John Jones Dryage Company. In 1912 they purchased their first truck. In 1925 the company was renamed Jones Motor Company. In 1967 Jones was the largest carrier in Pennsylvania and the 25th largest in the United States. Sadly the LTL division was shuttered in 1981. The company is now the Jones Motor Group and is made up of a number of owner operator companies. |
