Gotfredson logging truck.
Arctic Manufacturing Hayes logging truck.
An old Mack - the picture was taken in 1934 and it was owned by Granite Bay Logging Ltd. The truck is running on a For-and Aft Timber Road. They used railway timber trestle techniques and squared timbers by hand to replace the rails. I recognize it because of the "Y" and the back ground. My father had this picture and a picture of a modern truck (pneumatic tires) when he changed from one to the other in 1935. The new trucks were a "Hayes Anderson" and they operated through the war and until 1952 with new 150 Cummins engines.
