Here are some pictures taken by Gene England showing the equipment that was used to move a 340 ton boulder from Riverside to the Los Angeles County Museum. The rock was transported for 105 miles and would only be done between 10pm and 5am. The move took 11 nights before arriving at the Los Angles County Museum.

You can find more images and some video from the KTLA web site. Type in "rock move" to see pictures and video.
