Flying J "Rocky Mountain" set, or simply a tanker train, powered by an International running eastbound for a delivery out in the hinterlands of Nevada - July 25, 2009. The photo was taken near Wadsworth, Nevada which is about 30 miles east of Reno.
Next is a Flying J tanker train powered by a Peterbilt, I don't know about others, but I sure like the paint on these units. The photo was taken just a little west of the Wadsworth exit along I-80 - July 25, 2009
Westbound at about MM 52 or so, about 4 miles east of Fernley, NV this Flying J Peterbilt powered tanker train is framed by a typical Nevada landscape - February 13, 2010
Westbound near Moltan, NV about 3 or so miles from the Nightingale exit, this Flying J LCV tanker train has a rather plain looking white Mack as power. Started seeing this unit about the time Flying J was having financial problems - February 13, 2010.
One of my favorite tanker LCV rigs, Peterbilt powered, near Painted Rock exit along I-80 about 6 or 7 miles from Fernley, NV - January 31, 2010.
Flying J Pete powered truck 'n trailer unloading diesel fuel at the Yellow Transportation terminal at Sparks, NV - August 3, 2006.
After completing unloading diesel fuel at Yellow Transportation's Sparks, NV terminal the driver has parked by the office so he could run in and get a signature on the bill - July 6, 2006.
