It is shown here delivering the concrete sinkers that hold navigational aids in place.

This Consolidated Freightways Freightliner was being loaded at a company in Burlington, Vermont that manufactures stoves for restaurants. The picture was taken in July 2000. Wilcox Dairy is a Vermont tradition. This International is shown at the Waterfront Park in Burlington. Taken in May 2000.

This GMC is a truck like the one Jim's father drove when he was a kid. This one was sitting behind a service station in East Moriches New York.
This MACK was making a delivery to Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York. The McLane distribution International was taking up most of a convenience store parking lot in West Islip New York. White with a vacuum rig that was being used to do some work on the Verrazano Narrows bridge in New York. In the picture the truck is parked under the bridge on the Staten Island side.
This snow plow is pictured in front of the Victory Diner on Richmond Road on Staten Island. There were 5 others parked around the diner and the drivers were inside waiting for the first storm of the year. It started to snow about 10 minutes after the picture was taken.
Here are two shots of old Ford Cabovers. The trucks were parked near a Park Service maintenance shed near the tip of Sandy Hook New Jersey. Picture was taken on April 19th 2001. The Flatbed was still being used, but the fire truck looked like it had been out of service for a long time. This Freightliner was making a delivery to the Federal Reserve Bank in lower Manhattan on March 31, 2001.
The Mack was being unloaded in the middle of Water Street in lower Manhattan on Saturday, the 31st of March. This Freightliner is the rig that carries the Marion County motorcycle drill squad. It is shown here parked at the beach in Fort Myers Beach Florida in February 2001. This white Freightliner is run by Young Trucking out of Punt Gorda Florida. The picture was taken at the Schwab Ready Mix plant in Fort Myers. The white powder that covers the whole area around the plant is as fine as talc, and when a truck moves through it the stuff stays in the air for quite a while. This was taken in February 2001, and it had not rained in more than three weeks.

The driver was the owner, and he said that he had been on the road for over two months. Picture taken on June 1, 2001.
D&R Moving and Storage is based in Oceanside, New York. The pictures were taken while they were loading James' stuff on Fire Island.
These three pictures are of Buffalo New York Fire Department's Ladder 2. These guys were willing to come down to the base where James works and help re-string their sixty foot flag pole on an extremely bitter morning.
Here is a Kenworth T600 that James passed on a highway south of Buffalo New York in May 2002. Here is a picture is a Freightliner Columbia that was parked on a back street in Portsmouth, Virginia in May of 2002. A brand new Freightliner bus that was parked on the side of the road in Virginia Beach.
Here is an older White, parked with a for sale sign in the windshield. The White was also in Virginia Beach, the lettering on the side says "The Equalizer". New England Motor Freight Mack parked at the Coast Guard Base in Buffalo NY in February 2003. Volvo with a low-boy that is only used to move large sail boats around the marina at Sackets Harbor NY
These two shots are Ford and Mack dumpers I shot while they were replacing a neighbor's driveway.
