This Kenworth was then brand spankin new, it would be the only Kenworth K100 Swift would own. It was used shortly after to run the A trains only. Me beside the Ford L9000 in 1979 taken in Chapleau Ontario. My Dad's first owned 1972 Kenworth K100 or K123 he can't remember now. Taken in I think it was Brampton Ontario around 1973. Kenworth K100 Servall/Kingsway taken at the Husky Truck stop in Kingston Ontario somewhere around 1984.
Atomic Transport Freightliner FLA, North Bay Ontario 1984. My Dad's 1985 Western Star 4800 or 4900 drove for All Trans 1985/86. Another truck stop photo year unknown, Kenworth W900a tanker and a W model Ford for Servall.
Myself (on the ground) and my friend standing out front of my house in Oshawa with my Dad's 1980 International Transtar II that he drove for Trans Canada Truck Lines. This was the only tractor I remember in the fleet that wasn't black with orange,red and yellow stripes. All these companies my dad drove for in a few year span was only waiting to be called back to his real job he was laid off from, That was MCL or Motor Carriers Limited out of Oshawa. He drove for them for 32 years the first couple of years were sketchy until he earned seniority. He retired in 2010 and is 70 years old and still going strong! I love you Dad!
