| Another Hayes HD model working for Oversize Express in Boston Bar, BC This one has an off-set cab. | A Hayes model HD-3170 from 1965. The truck belongs to one of Steve´s friends. Beneath the red and white colors of MacMillan Bloedel, you will find the orignal colors of the truck; apache yellow and forest green on top of hood. "31" indicates that the has a 310 Hp engine and "70" indicates that GVW is 70 Ton. The truck has a twin sister, which is fully restored. Hayes had 50th anniversary in 1972. Look closely at the Grizzly eating the Mack bulldog. Hayes was owned by Mack in that period, and I guess Mack wasn´t very popular by Hayes people.
