Location: Near Ostend, Belgium.
Remarks: On our way on board bmi Airbus A-319 G-DBCD from Brussels to London. Passing the Belgian coastline near Ostend. You might wonder why a Dutchman is flying from Brussels to London? That's because Brussels is closer to Gronsveld than Amsterdam.
Location: London, United Kingdom.
Remarks: On board of the C-FYKX, an Air Canada A-340-300, wich flewn us from London-Heathrow to Vancouver International Airport. This picture is taken shortly after take off in LHR. You see a part of west-London.
Location: Above the United Kingdom.
Remarks: We were certainly not the only one going westbound. Here you see a Boeing 747-400. I think it belongs to Air India, but I'm not sure. The 747 was much faster because our Airbus was still in the climb. When it is an Air India 747, then it is the flight from New Delhi via Frankfurt to New York.
Location: Above Scotland.
Remarks: Awsome picture somewhere above the north of Scotland. You can see clearly the bend of the earth, the land and sea, and when you look closer even the contrail of our plane on this picture.
Location: Above Greenland ( Denmark ).
Remarks: Awsome! It must be very cold down there.
Location: Northern Canada.
Remarks: Overhead the Hudson Bay. Ice, ice, and more ice........And then the stewardess ask me: "Do you want some ice in your drink, Sir?"....Uhmmm........
Location: Above Canada.
Remarks: Minutes after passing the Hudson Bay coastline, we had this view. A cold landscape with lot's of snow, some tree's and a frozen river.
Location: British Columbia, Canada.
Remarks: Saskatchwan, Alberta, British Columbia: All clouds until we reached the Vancouver-area. Here you see clearly the Trans Canada highway, a couple of minutes before touchdown at Vancouver airport. Believe it or not, but an aviation-spotter was at Vancouver at the very same time and took a picture of our Airbus while touchdown, and post it at Airliners.net.
