Remarks: I & B Herben, or Ivo and Björn, are the sons of Pierre Herben. I drove for Pierre in 1992/1993 as you can see on page 1 of the European Truckpictures. In those days Ivo and Björn were just kids, but now they took it over from their father with a couple of awesome rigs as you can see here. Coincidently I shot Björn's DAF a month later in Koblenz, Germany. That Fridayevening, Ivo and I spend the whole evening at the Kanters truckstop's bar talking about the old days.

Remarks: The Kanters truckstop on a quiet Friday-evening. I almost never need to work on a Saturday, but Hartog & Bikker were so busy that week. At Friday afternoon I loaded in Maastricht for Oosterhout. Thereafter I loaded in Schiedam for Oosterhout to unload that Saturdaymorning. Oosterhout- Gronsveld and finally loading in Maastricht...Weekend. On Friday-eve there's not much to do on a Dutch truckstop as you can see here.
