Remarks: Taken southbound E-25. Cruising trough the Belgian Ardennes. Altough there's snow on this picture, the temperature was above 0 degrees celsius. The snow make's a even more beautiful landscape of it.

Remarks: Taken southbound E-25. I'm about to start the climb of the Baraque de Fraiture, one of the highest "mountains" of Belgium ( Around 620 meters above sealevel ).

Remarks: Taken southbound E-25. On top of the hill the temperature went down to minus 4 celsius. Result: A beautiful christmas-landscape passed trough my windows.

Remarks: Taken southbound A-6. Luxemburg is one of the smallest countries of Europe. However, you can't mis it on your way from Holland to the southern and eastern parts of France and Spain.

Remarks: Taken southbound at the A-31. In France you got free highways and toll highways. In most situations the highways from the border till after the first French city are for free. After that city there's mostly a tollport where you need to pay for using the highway. At the A-31 the tollroad starts not far after the city of Nancy. The picture is taken on a tollfree part in Metz.

Remarks: Taken at their homebase. I guess this Scania with topsleepercab is only in use for local haulage.

Remarks: Instead of the standardheight of 4 meters, the trailer of this Renault is about 4.50 meters. This height is allowed in France for national transport only. If you look closely, you see that this trailer is a convertible type, wich means that this trailer can be pushed up till 4.50 meters, or set down till 4 meters.

Remarks: Taken at a northbound restarea at highway A-31. This TRAvaDRI Volvo is hauling for Jackytrans in Nazareth, Belgium. Even the trailer looks not bad with that Jackytrans Volvo on it.

Remarks: Northbound A-31. Approaching the tollpaystation of Gye, nearby Toul, wich is not far of Nancy. After this "peage" there's a tollfree highway till the Luxemburgian border. Unless you heading for Paris or Strassbourg. In those directions you having a tollroad again.

Remarks: This is one of the first operational Scania 4-series. A couple of weeks after taken this picture, this rig is replaced by a new one. Taken at the Kimberly-Clark waitingarea at their plant in Toul..

Remarks: Eastbound highway A-7 over the "Afsluitdijk". This is the famous "Afsluitdijk" in Holland wich connect the province of North-Holland on the westside of the IJssellake with the province of Friesland on the eastside. The "Afsluitdijk" protect parts of The Netherlands against the North-Sea. At the right of this picture you see the IJssellake. Behind the dyke at the left there's the Northsea.

Remarks: After it's retirement in North-America, this Pete starts it's second career on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean. De Valk use this Pete to bring their products from their factory in Sneek, to the Hoekstra transportcompany warehouse on the other side of Sneek. Altough this Peterbilt is owned by De Valk, it's operated by Hoekstra Transport. Picture taken at the Hoekstra warehouse.

Remarks: After this former MaxTrans Volvo was taken over last year by Bakker & Brouwer, the basic parts of the MaxTrans coloursheme remains on the Volvo. That's because this year the Volvo will be replaced by a DAF. Taken at the BSN Glasspack plant.
