Remarks: In 2005, BSN Glasspack was using the old fruit and vegetables auction of Gronsveld as stockage. In there I found this real classic DAF. I guess this truck is build somewhere in the end sixties-begiining seventies. I don't know who the owner is, but the former owner was the city of Geleen in the Netherlands.The steeringwheel is at the right position, so I guess this was a garbagetruck during it's life at the city of Geleen. I assume the owner has the intention to restore it, or he might use it as a sparetruck for another DAF truck.

Remarks: Eastbound highway A-6 in Germany between Mannheim and Heilbronn. I was on my way to Arnstorf in south-east Germany. When you pass the town of Sinsheim, you have a great view at the Sinsheim Auto und Technik Museum. Lot's of airplanes can be found there. Here you see a Air France Concord and a Aeroflot Tupolev Tu-144 "Concordski". And lot's of other planes of course!

Remarks: Four and a half hour driving after a nightstop at the Brohltal restarea at highway A-61, you can reach the Ansbach truckstop in Ansbach. During my 45 minutes brake I took a couple of pictures at the truckstop. Like this Swedish Scania.

Remarks: After passing Nürnberg, I was approaching the highwaycrossing A-6 A-3. The A-6 continue's to Prag in the Czech Republic, while the A-3 brings me into Arnstorf.

Remarks: When I arrived in Arnstorf the prereserving factory told me they had more than enough jars!!???......"What the heck! Don't tell me I drove all the way for nothing. No, we call our colleagues in Simbach, that's only 10 kilometres from here........". So it was Simbach! After unloading I called Hartog & Bikker, and they sended me to Wegscheid, near Passau for a load of wood fo Rotterdam, loading the next morning. This picture is taken while I was on my way to Wegscheid in the Donau-valley. At my left the Donau....me in the middle...The railway to my right....
