Location: Francorchamps. Belgium.
Date: June 2005.
Remarks: Northbound highway E-42 near the famous Francorchamps racingcircuit. On the last hill in the distance you can see a white plant near the town of Battice, wich is 30 kilometres from my present position. From that plant it is another 25 kilometres to Gronsveld, in the valley of the river Meuse. Driving over that road near theat plant you have a fantastic view at the Meusevalley. Unfortunally the road overthere is too bumpy to make a good picture.
Location: Near Julmont. Belgium.
Date: June 2005.
Remarks: I was on my way from Diekirch in Luxemburg to Gronsveld that day. After the bumpy road I tried to make a picture near Julmont of the valley of the river Meuse. The church you see belongs to the village of Julmont. In the distance there's my homevalley. The westbend hill in the distance is called St Pietersberg, wich is still Belgium. Close to that hill is the river Meuse. The higher hill at the St. Pietersberg is called "D'n observant", and belongs to Maastricht, the Netherlands. Gronsveld is not visible, but is situated behind the Julmont church and the trees about 20 kilometres from present position.

Remarks: My unlucky neighbour at the Joost truckstop. Unlucky, because at 2 am that night the driver wanted to go on the road again, but found his way blocked because a French reefer was parked up with the tractor in front of him. The driver of the French rig was in the restaurant. Now instead of walking down to the restaurant, he decided to wake me up, so I could move forward to let him go out...The lazy way.....He lazy, me lazy too.....After an half an hour the French driver showed up again. So the end of the story was that the German left with a half an hour delay. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the restaurant..........
