Remarks: This rig is called "Maus", wich is German for mouse. In Germany there's an educative tv show for little children called " Die sendung mit der maus". That's where this "maus" is based on. While there was no cat around, I was able to picture this "mousyrig"at the Kwaadmechelen truckstop.
Remarks: This picture might be a little bit of topic, but if you take a closer look near the tail of this Lufthansa Airbus you see the same "maus" as on the VTB Volvo watching you. That was because of the "Maus" anniversary, but I can't remember how many years she/he was. Looks like the "Maus" is very popular! I took this picture at Frankfurt Rhein-Main IAP a couple of years ago. The plane is an Airbus A-321 owned by the German airliner Lufthansa.

Remarks: Here you see the Airforce One while fueling up by that Mercedes-Benz about an hour after arrival for a short visit of the U.S. president George W. Bush to the Netherlands. The plane is a VC-25A, wich is a modified Boeing 747-200. It was a very nice visitor at MAA!!!!!!!!!!

Remarks: .........When the president was traveling from his hotel to the cemetery where was a memorial around the end of Worldwar 2, lot's of roads in the whole wide area were closed due to security reasons. Even a major highway. Lucky it was on a Sunday.

Remarks: As you can see here there was no chance to pass trough this barrier. For 17 hours my homearea was the best secured place on earth. But as aviationspotting as hobby, I had a real great time with al these nice airplanes the visit of president Bush brought to Maastricht-Aachen Airport!!!
