Red Ball was based in Dallas and merged with Spector Freight System in 1978 to become Spector-Red Ball Motor Freight.

Refrigerated Food Express

Ringsby Truck Lines
Ringsby was based in Denver.
These Red Ball Motor Freight Freightliners were parked at their Oklahoma City terminal on a Saturday morning in the mid 70's. This GMC leased to Refrigerated Food Express, Boston, MA, had a cracked frame. It was stopped at the U.S. Customs compound at Lewiston, NY in 1978. Ringsby Truck Lines sent this picture of one of their Peterbilt dromedaries to Fred in the mid 50's.

Red Star Transit Co., Inc.
Red Star was based in Detroit, and was purchased by Jones Motor Co. of Spring City, PA in 1960.
This Red Star Transit Co. Dodge was westbound on U.S. 20 at the western edge of Angola, IN after an ice storm in January 1959. A Diamond T at the Hamilton Lake truck stop on U.S. 27, 10 miles south of Angola, later in 1959. A Red Star Transit Co. Rio Grande Motorway sent this picture of one of their Macks to Fred in the mid 50's. Robertson Truck-A-Ways sent me this postcard of one of their Dodges in the mid 50's. This Rogers Cartage International picture was taken by Bill Jensen in the 60's, location unknown.
