Lee & Eastes was based in Seattle, WA, and were merged with Coast Truck Lines to become Coast Lee & Eastes, and then later merged in with O.N.C.
Lyons Transportation Co.
Lyons Transportation Company was based in Erie, PA.
This picture of a Lee & Eastes Freightliner was sent to Fred by the carrier in the mid 50's. Lyons Transportation Co. sent this picture of one of their Internationals to Fred in the mid 50's. Another Lyons Transportation Co. International picture, also sent to Fred by Lyons Transportation Co
Liberty Motor Freight
Liberty Motor Freight was based in Secaucus, NJ. Consolidated Freightways purchased Liberty in the late 50's.
This Liberty Motor Freight Lines International pulling a Consolidated Freightways trailer was parked at the Angola service area on the Indiana Toll Road in 1959. This Liberty Motor Freight Lines GMC was parked at the truck stop just west of Angola, IN on U.S. 20 in the spring of 1959.Liberty was based in Secaucus, NJ. This Liberty Motor Freight Lines White 3000 pulling an Olson Transportation trailer was at the toll gate at one of the Philadelphia exits on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in the spring of 1956.
Long Transportation
Long Transportation was based in Detroit.
This Long Transportation International was parked somewhere in northern New Jersey in 1955 or 1956. A Long Transportation White, parked in a service area on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in 1955 or 1956. A Long Transportation International, parked in a service area on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in 1955 or 1956.
Long Transportation Dodge taken at the Ft. Lee (NJ) diner on U.S. 1 in 1955 or 1956. Long Transportation Diamond T taken at the Ft. Lee (NJ) diner on U.S. 1 in 1955 or 1956. A GMC, not Long's but a local cartage company's called C & C, taken at the Ft. Lee (NJ) diner on U.S. 1 in 1955 or 1956.
These Long Transportation Co. GMCs were parked at the truck stop just west of Angola, IN on U.S. 20 in 1959. A Long Transportation Co. Brown, parked at the truck stop at Hamilton Lake, IN, on U.S 27, south of Angola in 1959. A Long Transportation White, at a truck stop on U.S. 6 between Butler, IN and Edgerton, OH in 1959.
Laidlaw Transport
Laidlaw was based in Hamilton, Ontario.
Leaman Transport Corp.
Leaman became part of Chemical Leaman Tank Lines

One of Laidlaw Transport's Autocars pulling a dump trailer, at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, November 1971. A Leaman Transport Corp. Ford pulling an LP gas trailer, somewhere in NJ in the mid 50's. Leaman became part of Chemical Leaman Tank Lines shortly afterwards.
