Interstate Dispatch
Interstate, based in Chicago, was purchased by Wilson Freight Co. in 1962.
This Inter-City Truck Lines GMC was parked at U.S. Customs in Lewiston, NY in September 1972. Inter-City, based in Toronto, used these Buffalo-based tractors in their Western NY border operations. This picture of an Illinois California Express Kenworth was sent to Fred by ICX in the mid 50's. This Interstate Dispatch GMC was parked at a truck stop somewhere in central IL in April 1959.

Interstate, based in Grand Rapids, MI, purchased Prucka, based in Omaha, in 1959.

Iowa - Nebraska, of Avoca, IA, was purchased by Takin Bros. Freight Line of Waterloo, IA, that same year.
This Interstate Motor Freight System GMC pulling a Prucka Transportation trailer was parked at a truck stop just west of Angola, IN on U.S. 20 in 1959. The GMC was owned by a fleet broker and leased to Interstate. This Interstate Brokers Kenworth was parked at a service area on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in 1957. John Mason took the picture.
