| The other day the owner of this truck came by to se me; we restored his 1966 F100 Ford pickup............it was black with all the chrome...........looked real nice much like the black Peterbilt that he stopped in with! The Pete and Ford belong to Bill Elliott of Elliott Transport |

We were just looking for trucks with Cat engines at the dealership and noticed this new style hood on the Star; haven't said anything on their website about it but the hood has less slope.......or more rounded! Jamie is working on a Western Star resin cast hood in 1/24 scale.....thus the search! |

| Today I had this nice IH S-1900 stop in to sandblast his engine, I think it is a 455 Pontiac, definitely out of a 71 Grand Prix! The truck has almost one million kms on it and still looks very nice! |

| this is an ex Manitoulin tractor from Ontario that was altered to work here in BC! The owner now, Gary Swan, utilized this truck to work as a crane flat deck but had to change the W.B. and the rear 72" spread axle plus remove the lift axle to make this unit legal! It is a true work horse and a cool second life for a truck that has a lot of life left on it! He brought in parts (to sandblast) of an old Dodge resto rod truck that promises to be quite cool. |

| I found this Argosy at the Vancouver Frreightliner dealer, quite hard to find anymore as they stopped marketing them here in North America in 2007! What a shame, now I don't think there is a COE available anymore. |

There are sometimes highlights when doing home reno's..............like when the material comes on a Hiab instead of the deck as planned. I had to get the camera and take shots of the action..............then the work began. Here are a few of the pictures with more to come. |

| Check this out.............Jimmy has a new jimmy..........well not new but new to me! This is a 1971 GMC 9500 with a 637 V8 engine and a 5+2 spd. I will take some better pictures of it after we clean it up. We actually got the thing running to day and I took at for a drive down the street..............sssshhhhhh!! What a blast that was! Maybe we will add some tail lights so we can permit it and go for a real spin!! |
