Here is a shot of the FL 112 so far..........kind of a poor shot to say the least but better ones will follow!! I see you caught an FL 112 set back on your lunch time.........still a few of them floating around!!
The FL 112: started out a as resin cab casting from an unknown manufacturer adding an interior and glass from a Herpa Mercedes T2 pickup, mounted on a Promotex Ford Aeromax chassis with fuel tanks from Jacobs resin, half fenders from Promotex, scratch built battery box, air tanks, step and deck plate, exhaust mount, mirrors and tail light bar!! It rides on Athearn wheels and tires, finished in auto base/clear paint. Chrome is BareMetalFoil and Alclad.

The trailer is a Trucks'N'Stuff 53' dry box looking similar to a Trailmobile, adding a Walther's modified Tridem sliding suspension!!

Peterbilt 378 SBFA:
The cab is a resin casting from Jacobs Models mounted on a Promotex Aeromax chassis (72"axle spacing) with Wiking fuel tanks, Boley glass and interior, Dennis Aust air breathers, Athearn spoke wheels along with scratch built accesories (load lights, mirrors, bug deflector, battery boxes, air tanks, deck plate and step and a blower!!) Paint is 72 Dodge truck blue with white and a dark blue stripe with a clear coat.

The trailer frame began as 2 Athearn container chassis spliced into one with a modified tridem suspension riding on Athearn wheels an tires!! The box was a 40' Concor piggy back trailer with all the ribs added along with a scratch built tailgate, tarp is modified from a Lonestar grain trailer and painted with Humbrol semi gloss paint!! The box is Alclad and the frame painted to match the tractor!

Does the bus look like a hound yet?? Pretty hard to tell at this point!! The stainless is applied as well as the white; now masked for the red and blue on the roof. then detape, apply clear, detape the stainless (and hope that nothing peels off) and then I can detail the semi gloss black and add the decals.........piece of cake.......NOT!! Here is the day's progress..............I think we succeeded as there was no peeling!! Make sure the paint cures overnite so I can begin the black detail!!
Here is a shot of the decals on the side Here is the bus complete
Here is a "quick pix" of the trailer you just bought me; my order rom Promotex arrived today!! I decided to get one of those double drop units instead of the step deck as I still have one of them left!! Maybe I will paint them up together and use different tractors or O.O.'s!! It looks to me like these lads have come from the mid west with a few deere!
Here is the latest on the CH SFA project!! This is a pre-production casting that is painted up along with a slightly modified Herpa sleeper!! The trailer is the Promotex double drop deck modified.
Here are some shots of the almost complete CH Mack
1999+ IH 9400 with a 70" Prosleeper! This will be released as a Jacobs Models kit (available August 06) The resin conversion kit includes hood, bumper, R&L side fairings, cab/bunk and interior castings!! NO glass will be supplied unfortunately!!

This one is mounted on a stretched Herpa CH Mack chassis and a Tonkin Volvo was donated for a windshield and interior!! Scratcbuillt mirrors, deck plate and frame mounted exhaust riding on Athearn 5-hole steel discs! Steps and grille were BareMetalFoil treated This is a "pre-production" sample!!

The other one is a Mack CH 613? "Rawhide" edition!! This hood and bumper castings will be a available August 06 as well and will need a Herpa CH Mack kit to complete!! This sample is mounted on a Promotex Ford Aeromax chassis with scratchbuilt tanks, battery boxes, air tanks, tool/step box, half fenders, mirrors, exhaust stacks, lite panels below cab bunk, and rotary lite mounts!! Lenses from Kibri!! Dennis Aust frame mounted tool box and rear wheels, A-Line fronts. finished off in Evening Orchid on the cab with Magenta chassis!! All chrome is Alclad. The sleeper is a modified Herpa unit!!
GMC tree trimmer International 4400 tree trimmer
I captured a shot of the Greyhound This was a Boley IH 7000 Utility truck and by the time I got finished with it it is now a Freightliner FL 80 with an Altec hydro body!! The FL 80 is of course the wonderful RMM resin FL60 fit on to a Herpa chassis using Boley fuel tank and battery box (from a Topkick and the IH 7000) along with 2-hole disc wheels from A-line. The paint is colour matched base/clear to the Boley blue used on the rest oft the truck!!
Here is a Boley IH 4400 with Altec Treetrimmer body and lift that started out as a red Topkick!! The cab was stripped and repainted in a custom mix base/clear auto paint! The box and toolbox was narrowed to 102"" from the "over width 110+inches??" and the cab guard/rack was removed and replaced with a scratch built pc using plastic and photo etched grid for the top with a brass ladder!! A-Line 2 hole discs and decals for the grille were added to finish it off!!

I was going through my decal collection to find these Market Transport decals; I thought to myself, hey, they use Freightliners and all white no less and so this is what I have come up with!!
Freightliner Coronado mock up Coronado painting under way
Coronado painted and waiting for some detailing Coronado with all the detailing done
This 2007 GTI Coronado is very much the same as it's sister, a 2004, the only difference being the '07 has a 60" axle spacing and had different fenders over the rear drive axle!! The trailer it is pulling is a Promotex 53' with a modified Walthers Tridem suspension with Stoughton rear door section added to resemble a Trailmobile!! Decals are from Ken Goudy, including the stripes on the trailer sides!!
This started out as a TON Freightliner out of the box. After stripping off the red paint and adding some new paint, look at the great Reimer Express rig we have now.
Got these on eBay. This is the Western Star as it was bought along with a progress shot! The other is the IH Fleetstar and Cruiseliner! I'm rounding up parts from all over the place to get this beast on the road!!
Lineup of 1/87 scale Ton Trucks Columbia's and Western Star's
Italeri Western Star in 1/24 scale
Pictured on the Mack Rawhide double drop is the Norscott Case 580 Super M backhoe that has all the rivets painted in authentic Case Orange!!
This Volvo VT 880 is pretty much the way it comes; just stripped from it's thick paint job to a new base/clear system using an '07 GM Fusion Orange pearl met with BareMetalFoil trim and Alclad for the chrome on the chassis!! The battery/step boxes were modified and 1/4 fenders added, wheels/tires are from Boley!! The trailer shown is featured elsewhere as a TruckNStuff 53' Great Dane tridem!

This Ford LTLA is the Italeri kit with a Herpa Ford Aeromax chassis underneath and with tires and wheels replaced with Boley wheels!! Chrome is a combination of Alclad and Bare Metal Foil!

The trailer is the Herpa furniture van that has generator boxes, reefer, windows and a man door added!! Italeri tires are about the right size for the lo pro tiers found on these trailers!! Colour for both units are '97 Ford truck code RD teal met. with a '97 GM truck Autumn gold met.base/clear auto paint!!

Here is a look at the Imperial Roadways project before the painting
Here is the grille casting along with the new style tanks all painted up waiting the mirror detail!!
Here are a few shots of the Mack R model finished up!!
