Taken on Kama Hill, east of Nipigon on Highway 17. early winter of 2003 Taken, summer of 2003. I was working in the Maritimes, and somehow ended up on the ferry to Yellowknife! On the way out, I called in to Winnipeg dispatch from Fort Provedence, and they told me to make my way back to the Maritimes! They didn’t have to twist my arm as I like the people and the food down there. Taken in the back entrance to the Sunoco Truck Stop at Waubaushene Ont. on hwy 400. (Honey Harbour) in the early fall of 2003. The old girl has just had a fresh makeover. You never get used to that green, it’s always greener than you imagine. Just looking at it gives you the sensation of sucking on a lime.

History:

I bought the truck new in 82. I was working at Export Packers, Bramalea, Ont. Where I started with my 76 KW KOE. The best people I ever worked for bar none. I left there and went to Maksteel for a short period, and then returned to reefers until the big insurance crunch of 85. I parked the truck for 7 months until I found work in the car haul ind. I worked for V. O. T. Trans. out of Delta. They where taken over by Autohaulaway, Oakville, Ont. And then again by Allied Systems.Decatur,Ga. Ran Vancouver to Toronto for 15 years then transferred the truck to Winnipeg in 2000 so I could get home to Mississauga more often. Most weeks I run Toronto, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg. Unless needed elsewhere.

It’s an old truck by today's standards, but I keep it well maintained. I have driven it in every state but Nevada and Alaska. And all over Canada except NFLD/Labrador, and P.E.I. I still enjoy driving it.
