| This picture and the one to the right were taken in 1973 along the Vancouver waterfront. The water in the background is Burrard Inlet and the ferry dock was the ferry to Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island operated by Canadian Pacific. The big building could be the Canada Customs building (I think). This whole area was leveled in preparation for Expo 86, Canada Place and the Sky Train. |
