The web site was back up last night and Google didn't report any attacks. So we are safe again.

I have been working with my support people to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for all your patience while this was getting resolved.

It always kind of bugged me to go into fallen flags and see a company name posted, but the poster only had not seen one for a while or something like that, and in reallity the company is still in business (sorry Ray! smiley).  Anyways, here are a couple that I haven't seen for some time but don't know exactly what happened.

Robbins was a heavy hauler based in Eddystone, Pa., near Philadelphia.  I've seen several of their tractors running as "ex's", including a couple with Bennett on the door, a heavy haul outfit from Georgia.  Makes me think Bennett bought them.  The yard they had near Pittsburgh on Neville Island is also gone.

I think this company may have been out of Delaware and was called Icelandic Fisheries or sometrhing like that.  They ran these sharp Freightliners and I usually saw them running in pairs.

Robbins still has some listings on the web but when you call the phone number you get a recording for Bennett Motor Express. I haven't seen an Icelandic truck in ages.

I haven't seen an Icelandic truck in ages.

Just found an article that said Icelandic sold their Cambridge MD facility to a non seafood non competing company back in January 2008. Guess that explains the absence of these wonderful looking FL's Paul although their main location seems to be in Norfolk VA. Maybe they also got rid of the in house trucking at the same time & went the 3rd party route. undecided

The only Icelandic pic i ever got was this Cambridge MD based turbo winged FL Classic flat top at the Secaucus NJTP plaza on 8-26-05.

I was figuring that might have happened.  They were nice looking trucks.

They were nice looking trucks.

I don't recall them running anything after the FL Classics but while digging through the old shoebox for some other pics i came across a Coronado.  shocked I snapped this photo at the Woodbridge NJTP plaza on 8-22-03. Had they survived it would have been interesting to see a Cascadia in this livery me thinks. grin

That's really sharp.  I may have seen one of those but wasn't able to photograph it.
