On May 28, 2009 you may have noticed that the Forum was in maintenance mode for quite a while. Well it is a long story. But I won't bore you with all the details. The short of it is that I needed to apply an upgrade to the Forum software and there was a bug in the process. After trying many different methods to get it to work, I gave up and put the Forum back online.

Then today (May 29, 2009), I did some more research and found a workaround for the "bug". Now the Forum if properly upgraded and things appear to be okay again.

Thank you for your patience.

After stopping at Giant Food Store at luch today, I snapped this trailer as it was being hand-unloaded at the local family Dollar store. I was standing in Giant's parking lot when I shot this. The trailer was built by Stoughton and is being pulled by a black Werner Freightliner Century. He came out of the Family Dollar Front Royal, VA DC.

Those are nice trailers, I don't think I've seen that style.  Some of their store locations I'd hate to take a 53 footer.

It's always nice to see the birthplace of trailers!

The Family Dollar store's unloading door here in New Cumberland isn't exactly cramped, but the driver is forced to jacknife his tractor in order to get the trailer lined up with the door. And this particular Werner driver went "mudding" somewhat to get the trailer lined up!
