The web site was back up last night and Google didn't report any attacks. So we are safe again.

I have been working with my support people to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for all your patience while this was getting resolved.

Not a chance when your laying out 550 hp and 1300 ft lbs of torque at the wheels. wink
Ive had 3 Duramaxs and there the best diesel out there as far as perfromance I can blow in Cummins of the road ( I do alot of drag racing with me) And man they pull and pull and keep on pullin the only downside is there fuel mileage isnt that great BTW My truck makes 743HP 1465TQ to the ground and my buddies DMAX makes 1300HP so 550 is not much but it is a I6 not a V8.

550 was all the ex would let the pocket book go to, I smartened up and made her an ex, so she'll be rising up the hp and torque platform soon nuff.

You can have your V8 Gas imitation motors.

As far as Strokers go, they're meant to be in irrigation ditches where they came from! evil

Isuzu? What is that? Are ya Chinese or Japanese?  cheesy evil

Who needs rookie bars on their pickup???

Funny thing, in the US those bars seem to be scoffed upon, whereas here in Europe, they're all the rage... Truckers even put them on cabovers!  rolleyes

As for pickups, if it hadn't been for the diesel part here, I would have recommended the "made in Texas" Toyota Tundra... Test drove one the other day, with the 5.7 V8, and I must say I was mucho impressed!

Yes, I waste my money on Volvos. A company that takes pride in the product it puts out so it's not just bland, stale, generic, badge engineered vehicles. Still staying true to their roots and building their product in Europe and not out-sourced to Mexico (my 20 year old car and new car were built in the same factory in Ghent, Belgium and shipped over.)

As a Scandinavian, may I add that Volvo should be a Swedish company, not Belgian!  tongue cheesy

Hey Jan, now if anything goes wrong, we can say that the Swedes and Bulgarians both messed it up, and us Norwegians didn't have anything to do with it! cheesy wink

Yes I know, Jesse, I just had to rain on your parade!  tongue cheesy Hehe. Never been to Belgium, but they're good at making comics down there (Asterix and Lucky Luke are among my favorites - both Belgian), so I see no reason why they shouldn't be good at making cars also.  wink

Anyone who does not like the Idea of Izuzu designing the Duramax then blame GM. They couldn't figure out how to improve the problem called the 6.0 on their own so let their subsidiary/partner do the design. Remember the disaster when they turned a big block into a diesel and pout that into pickups? Face it GM wasn't any good at designing diesel engines.

We used to own an Isuzu box truck with a little 100HP I4 and man that thing just kept on going and going. The whole cheap cab fell apart but the engine never gave us a bit of trouble. Oh and they do make Class 8 trucks/engines, just not here in the states.

But to add to my original post if you don't care about a crew cab then go Cummins. I seen a guy take his Dodge Cummins 3500 and haul antique trucks around on a goose neck trailer with no trouble.

What a dumbass.... did he EVER think about backing out of it to cool it down? Maybe that Chevy said "Swift" on the door...

Just think... if he won that suit every Swift/JB/Schneider driver in the world would be suing whoever passed him... they'd be in court so much they would never be out of hours!

One comment on Dodge vs. Chevy in light of what has happened today: I would much rather own a car/truck made by a company owned by the US government (Chevy) than I would one owned by the Italian government (Dodge).  tongue grin

That is, if I really cared about anything but the car/truck itself.  wink

First of all, the dunbass should have loaded the U-Haul the other way!  The Dodge he was following had a much easier time pulling the much more aerodynamic trailer and Jeep.  I don't know for sure but the loads were about the same - the trailers would be close and the Jeep weighs much less than a cube van - so with the U-Haul flipped around the Duramax would have had a much easier time pulling the load.  What was the purpose of driving in the left lane all that time while doing much less than the speed limit?

Yah!, I wouldn't pull anything un-aerodynamic or Heavy with a Cummins... O wait..  evil wink
