The web site was back up last night and Google didn't report any attacks. So we are safe again.

I have been working with my support people to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for all your patience while this was getting resolved.

Well it was just like most Northern Nevada springs, we went from cold to hot in just under two weeks. It was about 90 with overcast skies today. Caught this Central rig, was waiting for the door, its a 05 Sterling line haul tractor doing P & D day work. Note the chain racks for Donner Pass duty. Kind-of miss the two tone paint, like the new lettering, Gives it a Texan look.

Is this the central that is normally all yellow trucks?

How cold does it get down there?

No that is a different Central, I believe the yellow ones are Central Transport or something like that and this one is Central Freight Lines out of Waco, Texas. I do like the old 2 tone paint shceme better though.

DD- See the David Faust collection on the Website

I think this one that Jimmyb posted is from Central Freight Lines:

The one we see here in southern Ontario is Central Transport based in Detroit. They bought McKinlay Transport in Ontario and do all sorts of automotive work. They are painted yellow.

There also used to be a Central Transport in Ontario; it was bought out by Brazeau in the early 1970's.

DD, think Rob answered your first question. To add to the pool of information about Central Freight, Waco Texas they bought there way into much of California and Nevada through the purchase of a small regional I once worked for, Vecta about 1999 or so.

When I saw cold, I don't mean "Canadian Cold" I'm talking 30s 40s 50s then a couple of weeks of 60s and 70s then to summer heat. It would be nice to have a couple of months of the 70s and 80s before going to summer heat in the 90s.
