On May 28, 2009 you may have noticed that the Forum was in maintenance mode for quite a while. Well it is a long story. But I won't bore you with all the details. The short of it is that I needed to apply an upgrade to the Forum software and there was a bug in the process. After trying many different methods to get it to work, I gave up and put the Forum back online.

Then today (May 29, 2009), I did some more research and found a workaround for the "bug". Now the Forum if properly upgraded and things appear to be okay again.

Thank you for your patience.

Why on earth did you decline the interview?  shocked huh rolleyes Just cause you would have to take another day off?  Did you not look ahead and see that in the end it might just be worth it?  If a company gives you the opportunity to have an interview, by all means go for it.

I don't know, the more I follow your trucking experiences, the more I think your just wasting your time.

NO!!!   i did my fair share of driving.. the hours you work suck..  dealing with the wait at the transfer stations getting loaded esp. when there is no trash an u sit for anywhere from 1 to 20 hrs to get loaded..  worrying abotu DOT for the fact that unless u got a spread axle trailer your gaurenteed axle over weight even if ur under 80k gross..  plus DOT loves stoppin trash haulers...  the lines at the landfills an the up to 5-6 hr wait to get unloaded at times (esp here in the eastern us.. )   unless u like smellin like trash an dont care an are willing to do stand an deal with alot of the bs that trash haulin has  its something i would stay away from personally if i were to go back to driving

I don't understand why you'd need to take a full day off unless you had to travel some diistance to the interview...
