This group of pictures are some miscellaneous ones that I received from Dennis.
60's Kenworth used by Sharp Motor Lines of Hildebran, NC. Sharp Motor Lines was a furniture carrier. The trailer is a Black Diamond trailer. The driver is Dennis Shull.
White/GMC used by Merchants Distributors, Inc of Hickory, NC. MDI is a grocery distributor. The trailer is a Utility reefer. This is the truck that Dennis drives now.
Mack B-67 operated by Jacob Haefele & Son, Inc. for A&P Grocers. This is a promo picture for Gindy Trailers.
An early 70's White 7000 operated by Bush Motor Freight of Lenoir, NC. Bush Motor Freight hauled furniture north to Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. On the trip back they hauled steel from the Pittsburgh, PA area and general commodities south from the New York and New Jersey area.
Smiths Transfer Corporation International city pickup & delivery truck, taken at their Hickory, NC terminal. The picture was given to Dennis by his friend Ted Newton.
Smiths Transfer F model Mack taken at their Hickory, NC terminal. The picture was given to Dennis by his friend Ted Newton in the early 1970's. Smiths went out of busniess in the early 1990's.
