Here is a photograph of a Tennessee Carolina Transportation (TCT) KW non-sleeper taken in about 1973. Originally they were a heavy Mack fleet and then went to KW's and then back to conventional Mack U models. I suspect the reason they went with the Kenworths, was to be able to pull 45ft. trailers in 55ft. overall length states. They also had a number of Kenworth sleepers. All tractors had horizontal exhaust. They operated from the Carolina's to Memphis. Don Querciagrossa Collection. |

Consolidated Forwarding was classic. Their road tractors where almost all White 7400 tandem tractors and the diagonal decal of the their name. They purchased Bos Lines that ran in IA, Mo, IL, MN then sold out to Tucker Freight Lines. Tucker couldn't manage it and sold everything from St. Louis to Dallas and all of MO and IA to Dohrn. Dohrn latter sold to Hall's. |

The Olson photograph is exactly how their equipment looked. All of their trailers were painted. After the GMC's, they purchased an all new road fleet of White 9000's with egg crate grills. Shortly after that Central Wisconsin Motor Transport purchased them. |
