Since FedEx took over Viking, this is the result. Stephen Peak Collection. Fed Ex triples was shot near Durkee, OR during the last week of October 2002. They are trying to remark all the Viking trailers but it takes time! FedEx Kenworth pulling a set of mixed triples in Idaho.

This Kenworth is a test tractor for the East and has numerous cosmetic differences from the standard West KW. These were taken in the KCY (Edwardsville, KS) center behind the maintenance facility and these T800s are still being used in KCY. Wayne Rugenstein Collection

Fed Ex Freight, formerly American Freightways, Kenworth T800 with matching doubles. Rare to see a matching set like this. The only give away is the red wheels on the dolly and of course the T800 which AF didnt purchase until after the Fed Ex buy out. Viking of course was known for running the T800s. A FedEx Freight Kenworth T800 with doubles,one still with the American Freightways logo although the wheels are now white.Fed Ex Freight East of course never had the T800s as American Freightways so this shows some good differences/now similarities of the former AF/Viking. Fed Ex Freight new KW at Hermiston, OR 9/30/04. Newest Fed Ex Freight West KWs with stack on the outside of the airshield. This seems to be the only difference and they still use the Cummins ISX engine. Taken in Hermiston, OR on 9/30/04. Another Fed EX KW at the same motel in Hermiston.

Here is an ex-Coles tractor sporting it's third paint scheme as it was formally in Viking colors. The old number is bleeding through under the window. This tractor would look great hooked to the 48' trailer at the dock! Here is a rare Viking flatbed that is always parked at the Pasco FedEx terminal.

Here is some photos of our new batch of '06 tractors, I took in the Boise yard this weekend. The northwest is only getting 25 this year, so few to pass around (I don't get one, DANG!) This first few went to Boise and additional ones due in anytime to POR. There is also a brand new 3-axle in the POR yard,
