Here is an Eazor Mack in the livery from the mid-sixties. All trailers were stainless with the metal sign. All tractors were two tone green with the white stripe. They certainly had a unique look and the equipment was kept better than most. Most tractors then were Mack B models. Eazor was rumored to purchase stainless steel so they could run excessive overloads on the turnpike as they did not scale on purpose and also allowed twin 40 ft. trailers. Eazor like most east west carriers had a high percentage of open top trailers. |
