| This year I didn’t take nearly as many photos in the various parking lots of the trucks passing through. Perhaps it was the heat; perhaps I’m just getting older and tiring faster. Regardless, I still managed to aim my camera at a few nice rides. These are not in any order of favorites, except the first photo in the group; the black A-Cab Kenworth. The paint may be faded, and the chrome and aluminum dulled out, but this is a true classic, and still a cool ride! A 60” flat-top sleeper, a nice comfortable wheelbase, and simply the way it sits—so nice! In my (bias) opinion, the owner of this truck could have entered it in the working show category—and I would have voted it in the top ten of my favorites. |
