Typical of the Walcott Truckers Jamboree (hosted by Iowa 80 Truck Stop) working show trucks ranged from very conservative to the extreme. I wasn’t present for the awards ceremony, but without a doubt my favorites don’t coincide with the judges, which is fine. The judges have a job to do, and I simply have personal likes and dislikes. Categorizing the trucks allows me to show my favorites first.

A show such as Walcott provides me with great research material to support my model custom trucks. There are times when I think that some of my models are rather radical, that is, until I attend a show such as Walcott, then I realize that I’m pretty conservative!

I hope you enjoy viewing these photos as much as Anna and I enjoyed being there.
