At first I tried to limit this selection to the top five trucks, then I moved it up to the top ten, and finally I stopped at the best fifteen trucks. It wasn’t easy to limit this collection to only fifteen trucks, but I had to stop somewhere.
This selection is based on either my favorite type of truck, or certain memories triggered by a certain truck. The black Dodge pickup is one such memory truck. At 14-years old, I learned to drive in a black Dodge pickup just like this one! Dad ultimately gave me the truck. The Bullnose Kenworth is one of my all-time favorite trucks, and Wes Belcher’s blue Bullnose and Mackie’s single-axle Bullnose are among the best of the best. I’ve always liked Autocars of the late-fifties era, and Jerry Howard simply out did himself with his immaculate long wheelbase black Autocar. The restoration and modifications are first class all the way. Gary Johnson’s International and Aero-Liner reefer have become a legend at truck shows! I included a Dodge Power Wagon pickup in this selection. I never owned one, but have always thought it to be one of the neatest pickup trucks ever made.
