Here's a nice CF photo from the Fifties. I have inserted two versions of the picture. The CF promo picture was given to David Bontrager in the 50's from someone at the Meno Park office.
R-C Motor Lines Mack, based out of Jackson, FL. R-C Motor Lines was purchased by Eastern Express, Inc. based out of Terre Haute, IN in 1974. R-C Motor Lines photo, David A. Bontrager Collection.
This is the truck that fired up my life-long love for the Bullnose Kenworth. The photo was taken in 1960 with a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye that my mother had bought for me as a gift several years earlier. This truck ran for NIBCO (Northern Indiana Brass Co.) out of Elkhart, Indiana and was the first Bullnose Kenworth that I had the opportunity to personally photograph. Up to the point I had only seen photos of the Bullnose, and after seeing one in person I simply fell in love with the "lines" of the truck.
