In April this year (2004), I found the pictures on this web site of the Iceroad disaster. From the first moment iI saw the pictures, I planned to built a model from that. It took seven months from the first step to complete the display. I used a Revell Freightliner FLD120. I scratch built the tankbodies, and a lof of small scratch built detail to make a good looking replica from the real one. I used broken Plexiglas for the ice flow, and some snow powder from Rail Road landscape accessories.
