Pacific Inland Express
Until 1953 Pacific Inland Express was identified here as PIE. The company operated between BC, AB,SK & Manitoba via the US highways to Kingsgate,Coutts, Portal or Emerson. The company was threatened with legal action by Pacific Intermountain Express, PIE of Oakland Ca. When the company changed hands in 1953, the new owners avoided the lawsuit by changing the logo to PIX until merging into GILL/Alltrans/DS Scott 1969/70.
