Ron Langis began hauling for O’Connor Transport in 1954 from Ontario, moved to Vancouver in 1956 and continued into the sixties. Ron’s brothers John, Ivan & Leo were also with O’Connor’s.

During the off-season for car hauling (model year changeover in the car business) Ron worked on his father’ farm and one summer drove for Sabre Freight and ran south a bit for produce (VC).

Ron also had a logging contract at Port Mellon in the 60’s, hauled out of the Boston Bar Mill for Mission Transport and worked for Pacific Freightways (Vern Cross).

Ron returned to the car haul in 1978 with VOT, Auto Haulaway and finishing with Allied Systems.
